Dallas College's Sept. 1, 2026 newsroom release confirms Richland Campus is one of six campuses preparing a women's flag football team for NJCAA competition. Official practices are slated for late October 2026, with preseason scrimmages on Feb. 11-12, 2027 and regular-season play beginning Feb. 19, 2027. The release does not name a flag-football conference or a head coach by full name. Richland's official coach biography, read September 7, 2026, names Dynastee Cain as its first head flag football coach, appointed in June 2026.
