Ottawa's head coach record corrected to Abby Brown

Record changed: head coach

Liz Sowers → Abby Brown

We published Liz Sowers as Ottawa's head coach, sourced from Ottawa's own May 2026 article naming her a sixth-year head coach and NAIA Coach of the Year. That was true for the 2026 season.

Ottawa's coaches page now reads 2027 Women's Flag Football Coaching Staff and lists Abby Brown as head coach. We have changed the record.

Our source-checking pass did not find this, because it re-reads the page a record already cites and the May article still names Sowers. A second check that reads each school's own news feed found the disagreement.
