GHSA's own Flag Football sport page lists it under both the Fall sports menu and the 'State Championships' section, and shows a Jan 2026 news item on the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation funding girls flag football programs, confirming an active sanctioned sport. Exact first-sanctioned season and school/participant counts not extracted from this fetch.
This page records what GHSA publishes about the sport. It says nothing about any individual student athlete. FlagSisters is not affiliated with GHSA.
