LHSAA's own homepage sports menu explicitly places "Girls' Flag Football" under a 'Non-Sanctioned' heading (alongside Bass Fishing, Esports, Cheer & Dance) as of this fetch, confirming it is not yet a fully sanctioned LHSAA championship sport. Consistent with prior reporting that Louisiana flag football sanctioning is targeted for the 2027 season; that target date itself was not verified on this page and should be confirmed from LHSAA board minutes or news before publishing a specific date.
This page records what LHSAA publishes about the sport. It says nothing about any individual student athlete. FlagSisters is not affiliated with LHSAA.
